(Football, Track & Criminal Justice Degree) 1988-93: I was fortunate to have had a great football
& track career at Bemidji High School in the 80’s and received several scholarship offers to play
at several colleges throughout the country. I decided that I truly bleed Beaver Green and made
a great decision to play here at Bemidji State University where I received a criminal Justice
degree from 1988-93!
My Love for marketing & sales started 25+ years ago.
As a founding partner of Fox Lake Log Creations.
We employed 30+ local craftsmen who worked out of a 22,000 sq.ft. building in the Industrial
park making creative log furniture. I created a marketing plan that got us established with the
national park system.several casinos and hotels throughout the nation. In 1999 we became the
first log furniture company in the nation to be displayed in both the cabelas and Bass Pro
catalogs & their mega stores at the same time.
As a father of 3 wonderful kids I made a choice to raise them here in Bemidji!
All three (Emily, Anna, Will) grew up enjoying sports, Lake life and the great outdoors! Two of
them have come to the conclusion that there is no place like Bemidji and made it their home
base. My oldest daughter graduated and made the decision to move back and is currently
working as a nurse at Sanford & my son Will is going to become a 3rd generation Beaver this
fall at Bemidji State University (Go Beavers)!
